A true love story
Some weddings are grand and busy, while others are beautifully simple — completely focused on the two people at the centre of it all. Charlotte and Ben’s wedding day was exactly that. Relaxed, intimate and filled with quiet little moments that felt so genuinely them.
Their day took place at Tunbridge Wells Registry Office, where the atmosphere felt calm and joyful from the very beginning. In one of my favourite moments of the day, Charlotte and Ben walked into the ceremony together side by side, smiling and laughing as they did. It instantly captured the heart of their relationship - natural, comfortable and full of warmth.
After the ceremony, we headed over to Calverley Grounds for some relaxed portraits together. The gardens were the perfect backdrop for those first just-married moments, with soft greenery and peaceful pathways creating such a romantic atmosphere.
One of the loveliest things about the afternoon was how genuinely relaxed everything felt. Charlotte and Ben spent the time simply enjoying being together, walking hand in hand, laughing with the children and soaking in the excitement of finally being husband and wife. It never felt posed or formal - just real moments unfolding naturally, which always creates the most meaningful photographs.
There was such a softness to the whole day, from the emotional moments during the ceremony to the relaxed walk through Calverley Grounds afterwards. Every part of the wedding felt natural and unforced, which made the photographs feel so genuine. The images captured exactly what the day was about - love, laughter, family and those quiet little in-between moments that end up meaning the most.
One of my favourite things about Charlotte and Ben’s wedding was how comfortable they were together. Nothing felt overly posed or formal. They laughed together constantly, shared little glances throughout the ceremony and completely relaxed into the day. From romantic portraits beneath the trees to the emotional moments during their vows, everything had such a timeless, heartfelt feel to it.
Charlotte and Ben, thank you for trusting me to capture such a special chapter in your lives. Your wedding was such a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful days are often the simplest ones - filled with genuine connection, happy chaos, emotional moments and the people you love most.
