Christmas Mini Sessions


Capture a little Christmas magic with a festive mini session at Emily Dews Photography.

Choose from two beautiful themes, each featuring two coordinating sets. From cosy Christmas portraits to a snowy scene straight from a storybook, these sessions are a lovely way to capture your family this Christmas- and create thoughtful gifts for the people who love them.

  • A 20-minute photography session for up to four people.
  • One professionally edited digital photograph, sent via email.
  • The option to purchase additional photographs at my usual prices.


More than four people? You’ll need to book a double session so we have enough time for everyone. Please message me to arrange this.


These sessions are not suitable for solo newborn portraits or children who are unable to sit unaided.

The Bow Arch & Festive Fireplace

 

An elegant Christmas theme combining soft whites, festive greenery and warm, rustic details.


The Bow Arch features a beautiful arched window framed by frosted foliage, delicate lights and red berries, finished with a statement red bow. Snow-covered Christmas trees, wrapped presents and a little white bench complete this bright, festive setting.


The Festive Fireplace brings a cosy feel, with a rustic wooden mantel, lush greenery, pine cones and glowing lanterns. Frosted trees and a traditional rocking horse add a nostalgic touch—perfect for capturing the excitement of childhood at Christmas.

Winter Wonderland

The Cocoa Stall & Candy Cane Arch

 

A playful Christmas theme filled with snowy scenery, sweet-shop colours and a little North Pole magic.


The Cocoa Stall is set amongst snow-covered trees, with a backdrop full of hot chocolate mugs and festive treats. A little white bench and cheerful snowman create a charming spot for winter portraits.


The Candy Cane Arch features frosted foliage decorated with oversized candy canes, peppermint swirls and colourful Christmas lights. The red North Pole post box gives little ones the chance to post their Christmas wishes, making for lovely moments to capture.


A wonderful choice for Christmas jumpers, bright festive outfits and children who love a little make-believe.

Santa Paws: Christmas Sessions for Pets


Pets are part of the family too! I’ll be offering separate Christmas sessions for dogs and other pets, with loose artificial snow and selected decorations removed from the sets. Only well-trained, toilet-trained pets who are comfortable in a studio environment can attend. Owners must supervise their pets throughout the session and are responsible for any damage or loss caused by them. Please choose a dedicated pet session when booking.

FAQ

 

Can we use both Christmas themes in one session?

Each session includes the two backdrops within your chosen theme. A Cosy Christmas and Winter Wonderland take place on different days, so if you’d love photographs in both, you’re welcome to book a separate session for each. Please check the theme listed for your chosen date before booking.

How many people can take part, and is there a minimum age?

Christmas minis are perfect for solo portraits, couples, children, siblings and families, with up to four people per session. Larger groups will need to book a double session—please message me to arrange this.

Children taking part must be able to sit unaided. These sessions aren’t suitable for solo newborn portraits.

How many photographs are included, and can I buy more?

Your £60 session includes one professionally edited digital photograph, sent via email. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional photographs at my usual prices—there’s no obligation to buy more.

Can I bring my dog or another pet?

Yes- please book one of my dedicated Santa Paws sessions. These are held separately, with loose artificial snow and selected decorations removed. Pets must be well trained, toilet trained and comfortable in the studio. Owners must supervise them throughout and are responsible for any damage or loss caused by their pet.
